In the final year of graduation I had the chance to attend one month training in Karnaphuli Fertilizer Company Limited, Anowara, Chattogram, under the course ME 370: Industrial Training. Karnaphuli Fertilizer Company Limited (KAFCO) is a 100% export oriented international joint venture company. KAFCO produces high-grade granular Urea and anhydrous Ammonia. The facility consists of an ammonia plant, urea plant, and a urea granulation unit, all supported by captive power generation. It was a huge experience.
